I'm fairly certain mental health counseling is the only career where your life's biggest dumpster fires count as professional development. If so, I'm wildly overqualified. Substance abuse? Check. Perimenopause? Currently surviving. A history of relationship violence and trauma? Check. Parenting mistakes a’plenty? Indeed. An inner critic who never takes a day off, never calls in sick, and always has notes? Check and check.

The upside of all that "field research" is that I can meet you exactly where you are, with warmth, compassion, and zero judgment. Trust me, I'm in no position to judge. My journey of self-discovery has been going on for decades (apparently there's no graduation date), and it keeps me humble, grateful, and very good at laughing at myself. You'll find me open-minded, caring, and genuinely authentic, with a gritty little layer of sarcasm underneath.

In my other lives, I sing in several bands across Colorado and Wyoming, so if you've ever heard someone belting it out in a bar in Laramie, there's a decent chance that was me. I'm a mom to two hilarious, independent humans who keep me humble, and a partner to someone I'm thankful for every single day (even when they load the dishwasher wrong). When life gets overwhelming, I head for the woods around Laramie. The trees are excellent listeners, and they never ask about my feelings.
